May Meeting Fun

May meeting was a lot of fun.  Janet Platt came and showed a demo of her quick points ruler.

We had a reminder from Ardeth to work on the charity quilts for the Utah Quilt Guild service project.  The Foster kids really appreciate them.

Verneal's Tip of the month was "Pin Clips"  They are a clip to hold fabric, vinyl, or heavy fabrics together.  They are nice to use because they grip well and have a flat side on the back, so you can have it flow well while you are sewing.  You can purchase them at quilt shops, amazon, or from JoAnn's online.

Michelle reminded us to keep working on our BOM.  Janine Manzione has completed her top and is going to be working on her boarders already.  We need to be working on section 3.

Katie did a fun round tuit...it's a great reminder that we all need to quilt "Smore"

Show and Tell...It's always so fun to see what is being worked on and inspire us to keep quilting!
