May meeting:

After a long, cold winter, it is nice to finally have some warm weather and know that summer is on its way!  That might mean less time for quilting, but it will be nice to spend time doing the things we love to do in summertime.

Round Tuits:

Block of the Month:
The wagon and the pie are the blocks to complete this month.  Janine also showed us her completed large quilt.

Mystery Block of the Month:
We hope everyone is keeping up with the mystery block of the month.  It is not overwhelming if you do it every month!!

Show and Tell:

At the June meeting, we will be trying out the new Moda Cake Mixes.  Be watching for an e-mail from Lois with the list of supplies needed for the meeting.  Enjoy the sunshine!!!!!
April Meeting...

Kaye showed us the progress that has been made on the Intermountain Medical Foundation Quilt.
Thanks to everyone who helped make blocks and with the hand quilting.  It is a beautiful quilt and will be auctioned off to help a great cause.

We will be making these Wacky String Quilts at the May Meeting.  Verneal and Janine brought their quilts to get us excited.

Round Tuits:

Block of the Month

If you are doing this year's block of the month, you should be working on the stitching for the turkey or sparkler blocks.

Lynn Bevan brought her completed wall hanging.

Charity Quilts:

Be sure to put your name in for the year end prize drawing for any charity quilts that you make.  We appreciate everyone's efforts in giving service to our community through quilting.

March...

March was a busy month for the Quilt Guild.  We had our second annual Quilt Retreat, held again at the Grantsville City Library.  Valyn and her committee did a great job again and everyone seemed to enjoy sewing, eating, and getting to know each other better.  If you didn't make it this year, be sure to plan early next year so you can join the fun!
